Top courses
Where you'll play
Whistling Straits (Straits Course)
2021 Ryder Cup venue. Dramatic links course perched on Lake Michigan cliffs. Walking only with caddie required. Over 1,000 bunkers.
Whistling Straits (Irish Course)
The Straits' inland sibling. More rolling and less dramatic but still elite Pete Dye links-style golf.
Blackwolf Run (River Course)
Along the Sheboygan River. Hosted 2012 U.S. Women's Open. Tighter and more wooded than Whistling Straits.
Blackwolf Run (Meadow Valleys Course)
The most accessible of the four courses. Still Pete Dye character but more forgiving. Good warm-up round.

The itinerary
What you'll play and when
A captain wrote this. Every tee time has a reason. Here's the first part.
Day 1
Blackwolf Run (Meadow Valleys Course)
Tee time: 3:00 PM
Most accessible of the four courses gives you a warm-up round after noon arrival from MKE without the pressure of Straits or River.
Day 2
Whistling Straits (Straits Course)
Tee time: 8:00 AM
Book the Straits first and build your trip around it — morning start beats Lake Michigan wind and afternoon fatigue on a walking-only course.

Where you'll stay and why
The lodging pick, the rate, the reason it beats the alternatives.
What it really costs (line by line)
The actual number per person. Not a vague range.
Who to call and what to ask

What to do when you're not on the course
The best meal of the trip. The post-round bar. The sneaky par-3.
